Sorry that it has been so long since there was an update, but JP makes it pretty difficult! He is so interested in life, that I spend my day entertaining him!

So, since the last update, we have...

1.Gone to Las Vegas for a weekend trip and enjoyed our time with our Aunt Bekki! She introduced him to ketchup. At first he didn't seem to like it, but by the third try, he seemed to think it was pretty good. Poor Aunt Bekki didn't get to finish lunch because JP wanted ketchup! Such is the price of bribery!

2. Coped with a major heat wave and discovered that JP loves Hawaiian shaved ice. That is quite comical! He will fuss and start to cry if he doesn't get it quick enough. Before anyone thinks we are awful, he was teething and the ice helped to cool his little gums. It also was over 100 degrees here and it helped to cool us all off. We don't let the little one live on junk food, the ice and the ketchup we more the exceptions rather than the rule. Usually, I am pretty protective of what he is allowed to eat.

3. Said his first word, Dad. Of course, he doesn't relate it to Jack yet, but he will just be babbling along, and then say Dad, and then back to baby babble. It is pretty cute. He really seems to be thinking about what he needs to do to make the right sounds.

So, we are now planning to move this weekend to a bigger apartment in the same complex. We just have too much stuff. It is amazing how much JP has accumulated in just a few months. So, that is our goal for this weekend...pack and move. Then, next week we head to Indianapolis for the Best 4 days in Gaming...GenCon Indy. Jack is excited, and it should be a lot of fun. I will get to show off JP a bit, and the rest of the time, JP will be entertained by my family.

So, that pretty much takes us up to date. JP goes in for his 6 month check up and shots Monday. Ugh. I will post after that, assuming we have our internet back, about his height, weight, head circ. details.

Enjoy the photos!

love, Jack, Elizabeth, and JP
